The Mobile Power Unit is charged by connecting it to an external source of electricity (mains electricity network or electrical generator).
The MPU can recharge a machine’s batteries after a full day on a work site.
- CIPAL designed the MPU, which is charged by connecting it to an external source of electricity (mains electricity network or electrical generator), supplying:
- Either 400 VAC + Neutral + Earth -63 A in 10 hours
- Or 230 VAC + Earth -16A in 50 hours
The MPU can also provide tools and other accessories with a source of electrical power to supply them. The MPU is transported to the place of operation of the machine so that it can recharge it :
- Either under 400 VAC + Neutral + Earth -32 A
- Or under 635 VDC -80 A
The MPU is designed for operations corresponding to the climate of Western Europe :
- Extreme temperatures in service: -10 °C / +40 °C
- Temperatures when not in service: -20 °C / +50 °C
- Humidity: 0 to 90%
- Altitude : 1500 mètres maximum
The MPU can be easily transported on a lorry. It is able to charge the RAPACE DAC in a few hours.
