The bespoke jib crane is a fixed lifting device designed for the lifting and movement of loads within a defined radius around a workstation. CIPAL designs it to order for each industrial application, where an overhead crane or gantry is not suited to the available space. It thus improves ergonomics and productivity at workshop or warehouse workstations.
CIPAL offers three main configurations to suit each installation constraint. The column-mounted jib crane is anchored independently to the workshop floor, with rotation of up to 360°. Mounted on a runway rail, the rail-mounted version covers an extended working area. The free-standing configuration provides a solution without fixed anchoring, ideal for constrained environments or temporary installations.
Each bespoke jib crane integrates an actuation system suited to the site’s output and operating conditions. CIPAL offers electric or pneumatic solutions to meet the requirements of the most varied industrial environments.
The engineering department sizes each jib crane according to the specific constraints of the application. It takes into account the type of lifting equipment, frequency of use and the operating environment. Every unit is delivered with a complete technical file: operating instructions, structural calculations and CE marking.
