The motorised turning beam with chains or straps is a specialist lifting device. CIPAL designs and manufactures it to order for industrial turning applications. It handles and turns heavy loads under overhead crane or crane safely. Each operation is thus fully controlled without any manual intervention at load level.
CIPAL offers two variants depending on the nature and geometry of the components. The chain version uses a sprocket driven by an on-board electric actuator. It is therefore particularly suited to raw components or loads tolerating chain marking, notably in high-temperature environments. The strap version relies on two motorised drums fitted with robust straps. It is consequently ideal for finished or delicate components requiring gentle, mark-free gripping.
Both configurations incorporate an on-board energy generation system. They thus require no external power supply, making them suitable for use with any lifting equipment. The operator furthermore controls all movements remotely via radio remote control for precise and safe operation.
CIPAL adapts each motorised turning beam to the specific constraints of the production environment. It takes into account component nature and dimensions, load capacity and operational output. Every unit is moreover delivered with a complete technical file: operating instructions, structural calculations and CE marking.
