The hydraulic industrial tipper is a handling device designed for the controlled and safe inclination and overturning of heavy loads (drums, crates, cylinders, moulds, machined components…). CIPAL designs and manufactures it to order in compliance with the Machinery Directive. It thus meets the needs of industrial environments requiring precise and repeatable tilting of bulky components.

Industrial tipper — a robust architecture for controlled tilting

Its architecture consists of a fixed floor-mounted chassis and a mobile chassis actuated by hydraulic cylinders. The operator controls movements remotely via radio remote control. The cylinders incorporate balancing valves that maintain position safely. No movement is therefore possible without active operator command.

A fully autonomous and safe system

The on-board hydraulic power unit and electrical cabinet make the tipper fully autonomous. A remote monitoring module furthermore enables real-time sensor data visualisation. Visual and audible signals accompany each movement to secure the working area.

The hydraulic industrial tipper finds applications across a wide range of industrial sectors. It is particularly suited to the tilting of heavy components in mechanical engineering and metal processing workshops, the overturning of moulds and tooling in the plastics or automotive industry, the handling of large-scale structures in the steel industry, and precision tilting operations in environments requiring full movement control. Its robust design and intuitive controls thus make it a reference solution for companies requiring precise and repeatable tilting at intensive output.

The engineering department sizes each tipper according to the specific constraints of the application. It takes into account component type, frequency of use and the operating environment. Every unit is moreover delivered with a complete technical file: operating instructions, structural calculations and CE marking.
