The lifting C-hook is a versatile handling device designed for the lifting and movement of hollow, cylindrical or palletised loads in workshops and on industrial sites. CIPAL designs it to order for each application. Its C-shaped design thus provides great flexibility of use, from pallet unloading to the handling of drums and coils of all kinds.
Its simple and robust architecture penetrates the load’s bore to ensure gripping. The lifting C-hook therefore works directly under overhead crane or crane without the need for complex slinging. Its modular design furthermore allows additional functions to be incorporated as required. A centre-of-gravity adjustment system can consequently be combined to manage unbalanced loads. This modularity thus makes it an adaptable tool suited to the most varied operational constraints.
Available in single or double arm versions, the CIPAL lifting C-hook adapts to the dimensions and weight of the components to be handled. It is moreover suited to a very wide range of applications, from a few kilograms to several hundred tonnes.
The engineering department sizes each C-hook according to the specific constraints of the application. It takes into account the type of lifting equipment, frequency of use and the operating environment. Every unit is furthermore delivered with a complete technical file: operating instructions, structural calculations and CE marking.
